Shindzela Tented Camp & Walking Safaris

Shindzela Tented Safari Camp offers an affordable wildlife safari (game drives and walking safaris) in a Big Five game viewing area in the Timbavati Private Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. The camp is situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.

Shindzela offers both game drive safaris (day and night drives in open safari vehicles) as well as walking trails with armed guides. Guests participating in a walking safari walk on average 2 to 4 hours a day, during the early morning and late afternoon. Guests may choose which activity they prefer. Shindzela is an authentic tented camp, set in an unfenced wilderness environment. Safari accommodation is in comfortable canvas safari tents (twin beds), set on wooden platforms, each with own bathroom (shower, toilet and basin) The main area of the camp features a kitchen, dining area, boma and staff tents. The camp does not have electricity, and runs on solar power and gas. All bedding and towels are supplied. Price: R3975.00 per person sharing for 3 nights. R5325.00 for single accommodation for 3 nights. Clients may extend their stay if required. Includes: Accommodation, walking safaris, game drives, all meals, tea, coffee and cordials Excludes: Timbavati Reserve entrance fees: R110.00 per person, and R100 per vehicle (self drive or transfer), drinks (soft drinks, bottled water, alcoholic beverages) Please Note: No children under 12 in camp and no children under 16 allowed on the game walks All guests travelling with Shindzela must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, hospitalisation, repatriation, cancellation and baggage loss.
